VP12a Extension

Omnia MEP Design was appointed by Shaw Contract Management to deliver the full mechanical and electrical services design for VP12A—an extension to Progroup's high-performance cardboard manufacturing facility in Ellesmere Port. The project added 10,000 m² of production space, seamlessly connected to the existing factory, and designed to support increased output, operational resilience, and long-term growth.

We were engaged from initial design development through to contract completion, providing fully coordinated M&E solutions tailored to the demands of a modern industrial environment. Our approach focused on integrating robust, efficient systems that could meet the rigorous requirements of continuous manufacturing while ensuring compliance, safety, and maintainability.

All systems were designed to meet industrial performance standards, with careful attention to installation sequencing, spatial coordination, and compatibility with existing infrastructure. Our design supported both the operational needs of the factory and the logistical requirements of the build, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing production.
